Elizabeth Township man injured in ATV accident

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP- An Elizabeth Township man is listed in fair condition after an ATV accident at his residence Monday afternoon.
Ben Mullins, 22, of County Road 26, was injured when the ATV he was riding stalled, then jerked when he tried to re-start it.
"When he tried to re-start it, it jerked and threw him and his wife off and then it landed on his chest," Elizabeth Township firefighter Annabelle Jenkins said.
Mullins' wife, Melanie Mullins sustained minor injuries, Jenkins said.
Ben Mullins was transported by Medflight helicopter to Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
Upper Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted Elizabeth Township Volunteer Fire Department with this accident.
