A representative from the Ohio Consumers' Counsel

will discuss handling telemarketing calls and Senate Bill 28, legislation to establish an Ohio Do-Not-Call List, at the Lawrence County Senior Citizens Center at 11 a.m. July 8.

Attendees can expect to learn about telemarketing protections included in Ohio's proposed Do-Not-Call list, how they can support the passage of Senate Bill 28, additional tips to handle unwelcome callers and information about the national Do-Not-Call registry.

The Lawrence County Senior is located in Sybene.
