Ten indicted by county grand jury

According to information from Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney J.B. Collier Jr.’s office, the following people were indicted yesterday by the Lawrence County Grand Jury:
– Homer Glen Shaw, 37, 90 Private Drive 1065, Chesapeake; on four first-degree felony counts of rape involving a child under 13 years old.
– David L. Cooper, Jr., 36, 611 Adams St., Ironton; on one count fifth-degree felony domestic violence and one count fourth-degree felony of disrupting public service.
– Charles P. Lewis, 58, 1247 State Route 775, Proctorville; on two third-degree felony counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, OxyContin; one fourth-degree felony count of aggravated trafficking in drugs; one third-degree felony count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, Methadone; one fourth-degree felony count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, Vicaden.
– Jeffrey L. Lewis, 31, 1903 S. Third St., Ironton; on one fifth-degree felony count of receiving stolen property, one first-degree misdemeanor count of endangering children, and one fourth-degree felony count of driving under the influence. Lewis has six prior DUI convictions in the last year.
– Jerry W. Johnson, 41, 4143 Ural Ave., Whitehall; on one fourth-degree felony count of driving under the influence. Johnson has three prior DUI convictions in the last six years.
– Carl O. Stevens, 36, 8987 State Route 243, South Point; on one fourth-degree felony count of patient abuse.
– Joe C. Jenkins, 29, 1527 S. Third St., Ironton; on one fourth-degree felony count of assault on a peace officer and one-fourth degree felony count of domestic violence.
– Robert J. Ellis, 37, 351 Township Road 1013, South Point; on one first-degree felony count of aggravated burglary and one second-degree felony count of felonious assault.
– Steven R. Douglas, 19, 155 Township Road 102, Ironton; on one fourth-degree felony count of grand theft, a 1988 GMC truck; and one first-degree misdemeanor count of contributing to or delinquency of child.
– Steven D. Harper, 25, 1141 Park Drive, Ironton; on one first-degree felony count of rape and one second-degree felony count of robbery.
