A few county residents were without power as storms swept through the area, bringing high winds and rain. A few power lines were knocked down as the one pictured above on the parking lot of Midland Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin Furnace. Buckeye Rural Electric, a co-operative electric company serving the rural areas of the county, reported only scattered outages.
