Luke Beach (5) filled in at quarterback last week and played well in place of injured starter Tommy Hill, but the Panthers lost a 28-21 heartbreaker to South Point. Despite the loss, the Panthers remain in playoff contention. Chesapeake is fifth in Region 19 of Division V.
