CHESAPEAKE – Berlin Hiland head coach Perry Reese Jr. had a simple message for the Ohio All-Stars.
"Have a nice weekend," said Reese as he addressed the team prior to Thursday’s practice.
"You’re all here for whatever reason. I want to have fun and I want you to have fun."
Reese then had the players introduce themselves to each other. Friday and Saturday they will introduce themselves to the West Virginia All-Stars as the two-game series tips off.
Friday’s game is at Riverside High School in Charleston, W.Va., and on Saturday the game shifts to Chesapeake High School.
The girls game starts at 6 p.m. and the boys at 8 p.m. Admission is $5. Contact coach Norm Persin (867-5958 or 740-682-6777) for the Saturday game tickets and Mike Price of Ravenswood High School for the Friday game tickets.
