Courtney Moore and Jennifer Cline, two of the Green Lady Bobcats key players, were named to the All-Ohio Division IV team Thursday.

Moore, a 5-9 senior, was named special mention All-Ohio as she averaged 15.2 points in leading the Lady Bobcats to the Southern Ohio Conference championship and district semifinals.

Moore’s numbers also earned her first team honors on the Southeast Ohio All-District team.

Cline, Green’s 5-9 junior, was an honorable mention All-Ohio pick with a 12.2 scoring average. She was second team on the all-district team.

In the state’s top awards, Erin Hostetler of Berlin Hiland and Amanda Elwer of Delphos St. John’s – a couple of 6-1 seniors who led their teams to a 1-2 finish in the poll and to the state tournament – shared the Player of the Year on the AP All-Ohio team.

The Coaches of the Year were Hiland’s Dave Schlabach and Robert Kapral of Bellaire St. John.
