Eight-year-old Zachary Winters could not believe how high the Ohio River got after the recent rains. He visited the spot Monday when it nearly reached flood levels. Wednesday evening, Zachary decided to bring his mother and grandmother to the area so they could see the large mass of water. Above, Ruth Ritchie holds the hand of her granddaughter, Cierra Sands, 19 months old, while Angela Winters and Zachary watch as a barge floats by on the river. The water level had already dropped.
