Ironton police
Fight — Ninth and Quincy streets, 12:12 a.m. Friday.
Theft — 600 block North Fifth Street, 12:48 a.m. Friday, keys, iPod, money and other items taken, suspect named.
Speak to officer — Reported at police station, 9:35 a.m. Friday, woman reported maintenance man had inappropriately touched someone.
Vandalism — 1500 block South Third Street 6:10 p.m. Friday, rummage sale egged.
Burglary — 2400 block South Fourth Street Friday, residence entered, electronics taken.
People beating me up — North Second Street, 11:25 p.m. Friday, man reportedly threatened, all advised.
Fight — 2000 block South Seventh Street, 11:51 p.m. Friday, four men reportedly involved in dispute, Terren C. Jenkins, 19, 258 Private Drive 4649, County Road 52, Ironton, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.
Investigation — 500 block S. Sixth Street, 12:45 a.m. Saturday, officer received tip about alleged marijuana cultivation, located plants, plants taken to police department.
Man bleeding — Wendy’s, Fourth and Center streets, 1:34 a.m. Saturday, taken to hospital.
Assault — Shenanigan’s, South Third and McGovney streets Saturday, man reporyedly got teeth knocked out, description of suspect’s vehicle given, suspect located and taken to police station.
Breaking and entering — 1100 block South Third Street, 3:09 a.m. Saturday, person reportedly tried to break into house, now hiding in camper.
Suspicious person — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 3:53 a.m. Saturday, man who was banned from premises reportedly in store, left, suspect named, returned 8:19 p.m. stole coffee, located, no room in jail due to overcrowding, cited to court.
Man screaming in street — 3:54 a.m. Saturday, man reportedly creating disturbance, another man trying to calm him down, subject said he was assaulted in Huntington, W.Va., refused medical assistance, given ride to another location in city.
Man down — 800 block South Fourth Street, 7:50 a.m. Saturday, man reportedly lying on back, jail refused to take him due to overcrowding, sent home with family.
Request ride — 8:30 a.m. Saturday, man requested EMS or police ride to hospital in Athens, refused to go to out-of-state hospital, advised.
Domestic — 800 block South Ninth Street, 5:56 p.m. Saturday, both parties deny physical assault, advised.
Animal cruelty — 2500 block South Sixth Street, 5:40 p.m. Saturday, kids reportedly hitting puppy with hammer, all located, no visible injury to dog.
Suspicious person — Sixth and Mill streets, 9:46 p.m. Saturday, man reportedly lurking on porch, scared away by homeowner, negative contact.
