I have lived at the same residence in Ironton for more than 20 years.

We have repeatedly had to beg the city to “maintain” its adjoining property each and every summer. However, there is clearly a new “attitude” in this city.

With Mayor Blankenship in charge we made one phone call and the property was mowed the very next day. It seems that Ironton is headed in the right direction in more ways than one.

Thank you mayor and thanks to the dedicated city workers who often perform difficult tasks with little fanfare. I can assure you my husband William and I are not the only ones who have noticed the positive changes in our city.
