This letter is to everyone who has dreamed a lifetime about starting your own business.
The City of Ironton wants you to open the doors of your business in our community. Bill Dickens, director of economic development for the city of Ironton, will help you find a location.
The City of Ironton and the Huntington/Ironton Empowerment Zone have partnered to provide you with a 12-hour course on how to set up and run your own business for $400.
The first 10 enrollees will only pay a tuition cost of $25. There will be an orientation Dec. 2 at the Ironton City Center at 7 p.m. to discuss the content of each of the four classes.
The six sessions will be each Tuesday starting Jan. 6 and running through Feb. 10.
Please call John Willis at (740) 646-1208 or Ironton Mayor Rich Blankenship’s Office (740) 532-3833 to get further details and registration information.
Ironton is growing and we want you to be part of this revitalization. Let us help you make your dream come true.
Start your new business in Ironton!
Rich Blankenship
Mayor, City of Ironton
