Domestic — 2400 block South Sixth Street, 1:57 a.m. Friday, couple parting for night.

Domestic — Seventh and Jefferson streets, 2:05 a.m. Friday, negative contact.

Hit and run — Vicinity of Fifth and Vesuvius streets, 2:11 a.m. Friday, vehicle hitting parked cars and leaving scene, suspect located and taken to jail, vehicle impounded.

Attempted breaking and entering — 2200 block South Sixth Street, 3:21 a.m. Friday, attempted entry made to garage.

Theft — 1700 block Thomas Street, 7:12 a.m. Friday, items taken from porch.

Hit and run — Vicinity of Vine and Sixth streets, 9:50 a.m. Friday, man reportedly hit by woman driving car, man reportedly got up and fled scene with woman chasing him, negative contact.

Medical — 3000 block South 11th Street, 12:42 p.m. Friday, child’s ear cut by another child, victim taken to hospital.

Attempted theft — Eagles Lot, South Third Street, 4:02 p.m. Friday, man reportedly trying to steal from car, taken to police station.

Theft — 500 block Mulberry Street, 5:14 p.m. Friday, vehicle entered, item taken.

Suspicious person — Speedway, Liberty Avenue and State Route 141, 11:40 p.m. Friday, man reportedly sitting in car for two hours, located, sent home with sober friends.

Theft in progress — Reported by phone at 1:54 a.m. Saturday, man alledgedly taking grandmother from South Point to Ironton to get her medication for his own use, man alledgedly has potential to be violent, located on North Fifth Street, jumped out third floor window to evade officers, later located in South Point with broken leg, taken to hospital, no charges warranted in Ironton, South Point police notified.

Fight — Fifth and Buckhorn streets, 2:27 a.m. Saturday, all involved told to go in for the night.

Fight — 2400 block South Fifth Street, 3:38 a.m. Saturday, all advised.

Kids breaking into vehicles — Vicinity of Sixth and Washington streets, 3:49 a.m. Saturday, three juveniles taken to police station, parents notified.

Theft — 2400 block South 10th Street, 1:01 p.m. Saturday, vehicle entered, wallet taken.

Shoplifter — Rite Aid, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 3:01 p.m. Saturday, two people confronted for stealing, fled, not located.

Fight — Vernon Street, no specific location given, 5:58 p.m. Saturday, separated and advised.

Check well-being — Second Street and Park Avenue, 8:03 p.m. Saturday, drunk man sitting on bench outside apartment building, frequently spanking small child, located, no visible injuries seen on child, another adult called to care for child.

Man with gun — Second Street and Park Avenue, 8:52 p.m. Saturday, man standing with big knife and gun, located, Gregory S. Gannon, 28, Milford, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Stolen vehicle — Reported at police station, 9:39 p.m. Saturday, no specifics given.

Loitering — Taco Bell, Ironton Hills Shopping Center, 10:04 p.m. Saturday, people reportedly on lot, urinating and disturbing customers, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Fight — 2500 block South Third Street, 11:23 p.m. Saturday, one taken to hospital.

Suspicious person — Third and Mulberry streets, 11:23 p.m. Saturday, man down, taken to police station.
