This time “13” was a lucky number.

The Chesapeake Lady Panthers placed 13 players in the scoring column as they beat the Ohio Valley Christian Lady Defenders 76-19 Monday in a non-league game.

Amanda Ruffner had 13 points and Sarah Mayo and Kimmie Bennett 10 each to lead the balanced offense.

Ruffner scored 11 points in the first quarter and Bennett added six more as Chesapeake (7-5) took a 23-1 lead.

Mayo scored six and Bennett four in the second quarter as the lead grew to 44-5 at the break.

Jacque Cox scored eight points in the second half off the bench and Caitlyn Heffner had six points in the fourth quarter.
