Former Ohio State basketball player Jamar Butler has pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lorain Municipal Court records show that Butler was fined $150 and had his driver’s license suspended for six months on Feb. 17.

Butler finished his four-year college career by helping Ohio State win the NIT in April. He was also a starter on the Buckeyes squad that lost to Florida in the 2007 NCAA championship game.

A Lorain Police Department report says an officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside Butler’s parked car. The report says officers searched the car, finding three bags of marijuana.
