Huntington,W.Va. — J.P. Morgan announced today that vice president and investment advisor, Terresa Pratt ranked in Barron’s as one of West Virginia’s top five financial advisers.

The list appeared in the Feb. 9, 2009, cover story “Top 1000 Financial Advisers” ranking America’s top advisors within all 50 states.

The 1,000 nominees for this year’s inaugural state-by-state rankings are culled from more than 3,000 nominations and are based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as assets under management, client satisfaction, regulatory record and philanthropic work.

Pratt has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry including over 20 years with J.P. Morgan and its predecessors. As an Investment Advisor with the firm she works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families in West Virginia and surrounding communities to develop a personalized investment strategy based on their risk tolerance, long-term and short term time horizons as well as income and estate planning needs.

A native of Chesapeake, Pratt attended Marshall University, ABA National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School held at Northwestern University.

She is also an active member of community including serving as the Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee for the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation, member and past President of The Greater Huntington Estate Planning Council and Sunday School teacher at The First Baptist Church of Chesapeake.
