PEDRO— Patrick Dean Hamrick, 33, of Pedro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. He was of the Baptist faith.

The Nallen, W.Va., native was born Dec. 12, 1977, the son of Burnell and Helen Plummer Hamrick.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Clark Hamrick, whom he married May 14, 2010, and a special dog “Muffie” who was dear to his heart.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother-in-law, Fern Clark; paternal grandparents, William and Tressie Hamrick and maternal grandparents; John and Bernice Plummer.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by two brothers, Bobby Hamrick and wife Pam of Clintonville, W.Va., Scott Hamrick and wife Kelly of Mt. Nebo, W.Va.; three sisters, Pamela Lilly and husband Don of Surveyor, W.Va., Jeanette Hanna and husband Danny of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., and Judy Hamrick and her fiancee J.D. Hicks of Beaver, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews from West Virginia; a grandfather-in-law, Arthur Clark of Arabia; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Nancy Clark of Arabia; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Emily Clark of Arabia; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dora and Shawn Myers of Arabia; and special niece and nephews who helped care for Patrick at home, Shawna, Adam and Sammy Myers of Arabia.

Patrick was a graduate of Midland Trail High School. He was an employee of Davis H. Elliot Co. for 10 years. He also worked for Children’s Center of Ohio and Hyder Trucking Co. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, former 4-H advisor and supporter of the Symmes Valley Relay for life.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Rock Massie officiating. Burial will follow in Bradshaw Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
