Hitting was a one-way street for the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers.

While Ironton was getting nine hits, pitcher Kylie Summers was allowing just one hit as the Lady Tigers blanked the Coal Grove Lady Hornets 16-0 Tuesday in a non-league game.

Summers fanned five and did not walk a batter to get the win.

Offensively, Nikki Elswick was 2-3 with a double and Emily Lilly 2-3 with two triples. Emily Davis also went 2-3.

On Monday, Ironton lost a tough 4-1 decision to the Raceland (Ky.) Lady Rams.

Brea Tackett, Jessica Brown, Karlie Collins, Summers, Lilly and Davis had Ironton hits.

Summers allowed seven hits, struck out one and walked one in the loss.
