Trouble — 300 block Monroe Street Monday, man reportedly trying to start fight, Children’s Services notified.
Assault — 1000 block South Fourth Street Monday, woman assaulted, suspect named.
Request back up — Coal Grove requesting assistance with woman wanted for theft of pills.
Abusing dogs — 300 block Vine Street Monday, man reportedly beating dog, no officers available.
Boat in distress — Ohio River near Ironton-Russell Bridge Monday, fire department notified.
Need person removed — 1200 block South Eighth Street Monday, woman left prior to officer’s arrival.
Child hurting animal — Patricia Drive Monday, negative contact.
Choking — 200 block Scott Avenue Monday, man reportedly choking woman.
Assault — 1500 block South Fourth Street Monday, victim taken to hospital.
Two-vehicle crash — South Second and Adams streets Monday, no report of injuries.
Fight — Speedway, Liberty Avenue Monday, no charges requested, victim advised she will get protection order.
Fight — 1400 block South Third Street Tuesday, left prior to officers’ arrival.
Shots fired — 600 block North Fifth Street Tuesday, negative contact.
Fight — 1400 block South Second Street Tuesday, John C. Wilson, 24, Worthington, Ky., arrested and taken to jail.
Trouble — 1100 block of North Second Street, 2:19 a.m. Tuesday, man says his wife broke a window and the two are fighting. Parties advised.
Threats — 2400 block of South Sixth Street, 3:22 a.m. Tuesday, woman reportedly threatening man. Advised.
Prowlers — 1900 block of Liberty Ave., 4 a.m. Tuesday, people reportedly knocking at door.
Man slumped over wheel — South Third and Heplar, 4:24 a.m. Tuesday, male and female appear to be sleeping in truck.
Breaking and entering — 100 block of Scherer Road, 11:29 a.m. Tuesday, damage done to door.
Theft — 1:18 p.m. Tuesday, window reportedly smashed, medication taken.
Unattended minors — 400 block of Spruce Street, 1:56 p.m. Tuesday, children reportedly on sidewalk. No children outside.
Harassment — 2100 block of North Second Street, 1:58 p.m. Tuesday, man reportedly damaging property.
Theft — 1000 block of North Fifth Street, 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, leaf blower reportedly stolen.
Trouble — 800 block of South Ninth Street, 6:29 a.m. Tuesday, woman reports man took a paper out of her hand.
