HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Huntington Hammer will try to qualify for the postseason with the help of the Marshall Thundering Herd.

The Hammer will celebrate Marshall Throwback Night as they host the Canton Cougars at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

The Hammer is 5-7 with two games left in the regular season. Canton is 4-8, one game behind the Hammer who is in fourth place. The top four UIFL teams qualify for the playoffs.

Remembering the past will be the main theme of the night as anyone showing their Marshall identification card will get in at half price. Kids will be admitted free.

A special autographed Herd throwback jersey will be raffled after the game.

Also, Saturday will be Caregiver Appreciation Night in conjunction with Hospice of Huntington. Anyone wearing scrubs will be admitted for half price.

The will be special guests and entertainment as well on $2 beer night.
