Mary Marting Burke, 91, of Columbus, formerly of Ironton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2024.

Born Aug. 22, 1933, to Robert Arthur Marting and Majorie Ruth McClellan, in Ironton. Sister to Marjorie Lou Marting Waddell (9/24/1932–6/21/2011), Romaine Ann (11/20/1934–7/29/2018), Franklin Arthur (7/7/1936–10/16/1989), John William (8/10/1938–6/29/1994) and Robert Edward (8/101938–7/12/2021).

She married Peter Luke Burke on 2/14/1952. They spent the next 67 years together unitl his passing on 6/15/2019.

Mary was a member of the Ironton High School Class of 1951.
