Clinton A. Barnard, 33, of Ironton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024.

The Ironton native was born Oct. 9, 1991, to Larry “Bub” and Debbie (McFann) Barnard.

Clinton was a 2010 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a graduate of Ohio University Southern in Ironton.

Clinton was an amazing father, husband and son.

He loved his girls beyond measure, and they were his most precious gifts. He always looked forward to his daddy/daughters’ dates.

Clinton was a former salesman of Southern Glazier’s for more than 10 years.

He was former owner and operator of Lawnhopper Lawn Care, where he had many great customers and was a lawn care contractor for the Wayne National Forest.

Most recently he was working his dream job as a corrections officer for F.C.I. Ashland, Kentucky.

Clinton was a free spirit and lived his life to the fullest.

He was a member of Northeastern Kentucky Fish & Game Association, where he started the “Rimfire Challenge.” He was a superior sharpshooter and won many challenges at the shooting range.

He was an avid outdoorsman and there was nothing he could not master if he set his mind to it.

He could build anything and was an excellent cook.

Clinton loved his Lord and Savior.

He had the privilege of seeing his girls baptized and was a member of Be Hope Church in Ironton.

Clinton, Tessa and the girls loved to travel – the mountains were always calling their names.

They also enjoyed Disney, the beach, taking the girls to museums, the zoo and watching Friday night football on the big screen on their back deck.

Clinton’s legacy is his wife and three precious daughters, Carlie, Zoey and Tinley, they were all three “daddy’s girls,” as well as his testimony of his faith, we will see him again one day!

And, of course, his amazing smile and the ability to never meet a stranger.
