ODOT seeks public input on State Route 378 bridge replacement

As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation—District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge replacement project on State Route 378 near State Route 217 in Lawrence County.
ODOT is proposing to replace the bridge on State Route 378 near the State Route 217 intersection in Lawrence County, which is in the rural area of Windsor Township.
The details of the project are:
• The project will require approximately 0.118 acres of permanent right-of-way located along the forested stream channel and pasture field
• No homes or businesses will be removed by the project.
• The funding for the project is 80% federal and 20% state.
• The roadways will be closed for the duration of the project.
• The state detour will be determined at a later date.
The environmental commitment date is Oct. 1. The project is currently expected to be awarded Jan. 1.
