ODOT: Ongoing Lawrence County road projects

The following construction and maintenance projects are anticipated to affect highways in Lawrence County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
• State Route 7: Work has begun on a resurfacing project on State Route 7 between the Gallia County line and State Route 527. Work will occur daily for this construction from 7 am.–7 p.m. At least one lane will be maintained using flaggers. Estimated completion: Summer.
• State Route 141 bridge replacement: Work has begun on a bridge replacement project on State Route 141 between State Route 775 and Township Road 110. Work will occur daily for this construction. State Route 141 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via State Route 775. Estimated completion: Summer.
• Lawrence County Road Resurfacing: Work has begun on a resurfacing project on State Route 93, State Route 217, and State Route 248. Work will occur daily 7 a.m.–7 p.m. At least one lane will be maintained for the duration of the project.
– The resurfacing on State Route 93 is between County Road 38 and Township Highway 239.
– The resurfacing on State Route 217 is between State Route 378 and State Route 775.
– The resurfacing on State Route 248 is between State Route 217 and the Gallia County Line. Estimated completion: Summer.
• State Route 93 Bridge Replacement: Work has begun on a bridge replacement project on State Route 93 between State Route 373 and South Buckhorn–Superior Road. Work will occur daily 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Estimated completion: Summer.
• State Route 243 Bridge Replacement: Work has begun for a bridge replacement project on State Route 243 between Leatherwood Road and Sutton Mt. Tabor Ridge Road. Work will occur daily 7 a.m.–5 p.m. State Route 243 will be reduced to one lane using temporary signals. Estimated completion: Fall.
