JACKSON — It was a 4-for-1 deal.
The Jackson Ironmen used 4 pitchers who combined on a one-hitter as they blanked the Fairland Dragons 8-0 in a non-league game on Thursday.
Fairland’s only hit was a double by Blaze Perry in the first inning.
Boston Campbell, Zandeer Ervin, Ramey Wyant and Easton McGraw teamed up on the one-hitter. Campbell gave up the hit and struck out 2 ini 2 innings of work, Ervin struck out 4 and walked 2 in his 2 innings, Wyant had 2 innings of work with a strikeout and McGraw pitched the final inning.
Jackson (5-5) was led by Ryan Seimetz who was 2-4 with a home run and 5 runs batted in. Gaven Jones was 3-4 with a home run, Nolan Johnson was 2-3 with a double and a home run, and Jensen Greene was 1-3 with a home run.
The Dragons (4-9) play Portsmouth on Friday.
