Benefit concert, costume contest Saturday at OUS

IRONTON — Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society, will be holding a benefit concert to raise funds for a new scholarship that will be offered to OUS students majoring in education.
The benefit will be held Saturday, Oct. 31 in the Mains Rotunda, Riffe Center of the Ohio University Southern campus.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5 per person.
By bringing a can of food for the Louisville food bank, each person can receive $1 off the admission price.
Headlining will be local talent Katie Owens and Leatherwood who will take the stage from 7-8:30 p.m.
Costume judging will take place following the concert and the winner will be revealed at 9 p.m.
Costume contest registration will start at 6 p.m. and costs $2 per contestant
The winning prize will include 2 movie tickets to the Phoenix movie theater and a Halloween basket.
