PROCTORVILLE — The Fairland Lady Dragons got their work done early.

The Lady Dragons roared to a 30-point lead in the first quarter and rolled past the Minford Lady Falcons 68-23 on Saturday in the Tri-State Hoops Throwdown.

Bree Allen hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 12 points, Bailey Russell and Addison Godby got 6 points each and Kylee Bruce hit a trey and scored 5 points as Fairland took a 35-5 first quarter lead.

Things only got worse for Minford as Fairland opened up a 55-13 halftime lead.

Bruce scored 7 points and Russell had 6 more points for the Lady Dragons in the second quarter.

Allen had a game-high 18 points and 6 rebounds to pace the Lady Dragons who remained unbeaten at 11-0.

Russell had 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 7 steals and was named the team’s Player of the Game. Bruce finished with 12 pints and 4 steals while Godby had 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Maggie Risner scored 7 for Minford (7-3).
