Breaking and entering — 400 block of State Street, Proctorville, Tuesday, hardware store burglarized. Chainsaws reported missing.

Endangering children — 200 block of County Road 410, South Point, Tuesday, Man reportedly left 2-year-old son in car while he went in to Walmart. Sean E. Ellis, 27, of 81 Township Road 1485, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Breaking and entering — 3000 block of County Road 124, Chesapeake Wednesday, woman reports her outbuilding was burglarized and tools were stolen. Matthew A. McDonald, 28, of 3148 County Road 124, Chesapeake, arrested.

Petty theft — 300 block of Private Drive 160, Pedro, man reports his push lawn mower, tires and a steering column were taken from his yard.

Assault — Private Drive 9179, Kitts Hill Wednesday, woman reports her mother and stepfather stopped their truck beside her and sped off, causing gravel to hit her. Suspect named.

Assault — 2200 block of State Route 217, Kitts Hill, Wednesday, man reports another man hit him, shoved his wife. Howard C. Thornton, 38, of 607 Township Road 247, Kitts Hill, arrested and taken to jail.

— Howard Thornton, 38, of 607 Township Road 247, Kitts Hill, assault Wednesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Kricia Preston-Devaney, 22, of 212 Township Road 1336, South Point, probation violation Wednesday by Common Pleas Court.

Trespassing — 400 block of South Fourth Street, 12:59 a.m. Wednesday, juveniles reportedly shining lights into windows at library. Awaiting parents.

Noises — 1900 block of Liberty Ave., 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, man reports people around his house. Negative contact, checked area.

Road flooded — Lawrence Street, 2:17 a.m. Wednesday, vehicles can’t cross Lawrence Street. Streets superintendent had access road opened and barricades put on Lawrence Street.

Attempted break-in — 700 bock of South Tenth Street, 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, woman reports man trying to get into house. One to sheriff’s office.

Breaking and entering — 8:49 a.m. Wednesday, Ro-Na reportedly broken into, homeless people found inside.

Breaking and entering — Ninth and Kemp, 9:28 a.m. Wednesday, someone reportedly tried to get into building.

Theft — 3100 block of South Fourth Street, 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, woman reports something stolen from her garage.

Subject with gun — Iron City Choppers, 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, woman reports man on bike pulled a gun on three people and left. Advised.

Gun — 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, man reports a man pulled a gun on him. Advised.

Suspicious activity — 700 block of Ashtabula Street, 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, children reportedly tearing up park equipment. No fresh damage. Subjects advised.

Trouble — 10th and Quincy streets, 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, man reports a fight. Subjects left prior to arrival.

Trouble — 900 block of Center Street, 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, man reportedly yelling and swearing. Negative contact, subject left PTA.

Trouble — Ninth and Madison streets, 9:06 p.m. Wednesday, two women reportedly fighting.

Trouble — 9:13 p.m. Wednesday, 500 block of South Tenth Street, man reports 15 juveniles fighting. Subjects advised.

Trouble — North Sixth and Buckhorn streets, 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports hearing someone screaming and things breaking. Negative contact. Subjects left PTA.

Man with a gun — 11:02 p.m. Eighth and Latonia streets, man reportedly waving gun. One to sheriff’s office.

Trouble — 600 block of South Ninth Street, 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, children reportedly fighting.
