Mary Smith

GOSNELL — Mary Ann Smith, 73, of Gosnell, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at her home. Born in Ironton to Chester and Julia Easton Ravencraft, she was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW Auxiliary in Ironton and the Gosnell Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, loved to dance and spend time with her family especially at the lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith; children, Jeremy F. Smith Jr. and his wife, Rhonda of Gosnell, Melissa Sellers of Gosnell and Todd Smith and his wife, Angela of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Cristina Sellers, Matt Smith, Kelly Sellers, Megan Sellers, Steven Smith, Sean Smith and Blake Smith; and two sisters, Janet Haynes and Kay Murdock, both of Ironton.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home with Dr. Eddie Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net.
