Katherine L. “Kathy” Martin, 55, of Kitts Hill, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

 

She was born July 7, 1964, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Russell Paul Booth and Nada Iris Chapman Booth.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Booth.

 

Kathy was a member of the Leatherwood Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Huddle House Jeepers and a former employee at the Plaza 52 restaurant.

 

Survivors include her son, David (Deena) Booth, of Ironton; her husband, Jim Martin, of Kitts Hill; two granddaughters, Halley and Destiny Booth; two sisters, Shelia Booth, of Ironton and Peggy Booth, of Proctorville; and a brother, Russell Booth, of Indiana.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Williams Hill Cemetery, Kitts Hill, with Pastor Mike Long officiating.

Tesa Marie (Taylor) Schoolcraft, 42, of Vinton, died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.

 

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
