Possession of drugs – County Road 450, Friday, during traffic stop, deputy reportedly finds pills, paraphernalia in woman’s car. Lisa A. Stapleton, 33, of 1022 County Road 15, South Point, arrested for possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Petty theft — 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, Jan. 28, two female suspects allegedly attempted to take items from Walmart. A man allegedly showed up at the store and paged the two women. The man reportedly had been banned from the store in the past because of a theft. During a search of the suspects’ vehicle and the man’s person, drug paraphernalia and chemicals were reportedly found. Rena K. Riggs, 28, of 394 Crawford Lane, Apple Grove, W.Va., Benjamin J. Baker, 34, of 394 Crawford Lane, Apple Grove, W.Va., and Tiona C. Owens, 18, of 510 Bridge St., Apt. 46, Huntington, W.Va., arrested.

Petty theft- 300 block of Private Drive, 288, South Point, Saturday, woman allegedly selected and concealed several items of clothing from Walmart, then exited the store without attempting to pay. Tiffany N. Sloan, 25, of 4855 Camp Creek Road, Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic violence- Township Road 1189, South Point, Saturday, man allegedly kicked in a door and hit his wife in the face. Johnny D. Forth, 31, of 75 Township Road 1189, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Aggravated assault- 100 block of S. Fifth Street, Ironton, a jail inmate allegedly rammed another inmate’s head into a wall, sink or toilet. Suspect named.
