GREENUP, Ky. — A new park manager has been named at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park.

The Kentucky Department of Parks announced on Friday that the new manager is Brenda Danner.

She has worked at the park since 2007 and most recently served as the housekeeping supervisor. She previously worked at Oakmont Manor nursing home in Flatwoods as the director of environmental services.

Danner, a Greenup County native, received the Star of the Industry award in 2010 from the Kentucky Hotel and Lodging Association for her work at Greenbo Lake.
