ASHLAND, Ky. — On Saturday, Jan. 11, the American Legion 9th District of Kentucky will have a free Veterans Resource Expo at American Legion Post 76 in Ashland, Kentucky, from noon-5 p.m.

Approximately 40 veterans service organizations will be under one roof. All area veterans are welcome and encouraged to attend. If they have a DD-214 it may be helpful to bring it. Some resources that will be on-site will include housing and homeless assistance, mental health and overall health screenings in mobile units, help with veteran’s benefits, VA resources, and much more.

The post is located at 405 20th Street, Ashland, Kentucky.

Any community member/organization that would like to partake in the event, the post is having a chili contest in order to provide a free, hot meal to the attendees. To enter please contact Whittney Dallaire at 606-475-3294.
