Jeffery Smith Jr.
June 21, 1983– Nov. 19, 2019
Jeffery “Robbie” Robert Smith Jr., 36, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019. Jeff was born June 21, 1983 in Pasadena, Texas, a son of Jeffery Smith Sr., of Argillite, Kentucky and Patricia Baatz, of Traverse City, Michigan.
Jeffery went to Rock Hill High School and worked as a fire sprinkler fitter. He was also a diesel mechanic and loved to go fishing. He was a loving father, brother, son and friend. He was a fierce protector of his family, and a big teddy bear. Jeffery never met a stranger, and always knew how to put a smile on the faces of those who surrounded him.
Jeffery was preceded in death by grandparents, Dallas and Phyllis Cannon, and Carl Lloyd Smith; and two uncles, Kenny and Eugene Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Katelynn and Sarah Smith, of Pedro; son, Jacob Smith, of Ironton; two brothers, David (Alicia) Smith, of Coal Grove and Dallas (Pam) Smith, of Argillite, Kentucky; a sister, Shamra (James) Carlson of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; as well as a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Christopher Blevins
Christopher Dale Blevins, 36, of Scottown, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at home. He is survived by his wife, Dona Blevins.
Funeral service will be conducted noon Saturday at Rehobeth Church, Waterloo. Burial will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, consider making contributions to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

Raymond Brooks
Raymond L. Brooks, 74, of South Point, died Tuesday Nov. 19, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Bonnell Brooks.
No services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, assisted the family with arrangements.

Michael Wilson
Michael Dean Wilson, 32, of Scottown, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at his residence.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. at Perkins Ridge Church, County Road 2, Willow Wood. Burial will follow in Perkins Ridge Cemetery. Friends and family may call Saturday, 11 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
