CHESAPEAKE — Glennalee Wellman Fulks, 77, of Chesapeake died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 from a second courageous battle with cancer at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1933, in Wayne, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arnold and Edith “Dutch” Wellman. She took great pride in being a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother. She was member of the Chesapeake United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Leland Donald Fulks, whom she married on May 12, 1961; one daughter Alice and one son Matt, both of Chesapeake; her twin sister, Otalee and her husband Joe Reynolds, of Reynoldsburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Anna Wellman and Jerry and Deedy Wellman, all of Wayne; and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Joyce Fulks of Chesapeake. She was a very special Aunt Glenna to many special nieces and nephews, including “sharing” Fulks grandchildren, Chris, Lauren, Jenna, Becca and Andy. Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville by Pastor Charles Case. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Chesapeake United Methodist Church.
