The Paramount Arts Center will host “Hora Certa Featuring Mike Tracy” tonight as part of the Boykin Jazz Alley Series.

The performance is set for 8 p.m. at the theater, located at 1300 Winchester Ave., Ashland, Kentucky.

Hora Certa, or “the right time,” is a quintet that performs in a wide range of styles that can all be characterized as Brazilian Jazz. A veritable “Ambassador of Jazz,” Michael Tracy is one of America’s foremost jazz educators, with more than 45 years of performing and teaching experience.

In classrooms, studios and concert halls, he has developed a variety of innovative approaches to jazz.

Adult tickets are $35 and student tickets are $15, plus taxes and fees.
