Terry Lee Sierer

FLATWOODS, Ky. — Terry Lee Sierer, 56, of Flatwoods, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born July 24, 1954, the son of the late Emerson Leo Sierer and Helen Marie Bridges Sierer Cowell.

Terry was a graduate of Latherope High School in Fairbanks, Alaska and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Sierer; and a sister, Linda Sierer.

He is survived by a son, Ed Stowe of Ashland; five brothers, Tim Sierer and Rusty Sierer, both of Franklin Furnace, Rick Sierer of Fairbanks, Matthew Sierer of Columbus and Mickey Smith of Florida; a sister, Sue O’Brian of Fairbanks, Alaska; a granddaughter, Sierra Stowe of Ashland; and many close friends, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
