PINE GROVE — Pat Riggs went 1-for-3. But in golf math, she came in at 100 percent.
Although last Tuesday’s hostess Pat Lambert announced a day with three golfing events, Riggs was the lone winner as she claimed first place in three events at last Tuesday’s golf outing by the Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club.
After a brief business meeting, Lambert announced the day’s events and Riggs was on top of her game.
Lunch followed the golfing and Lambert announce Riggs as the day’s only winner.
Next week’s hostess will be Lana Moore.
During the month of May, the group will have a brief business meeting at 9 a.m. followed by golfing events at 9:30. The club meet’s each Tuesday.
New members are always welcomed and persons do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the Ladies Nine Hole League.
