SOUTH POINT — South Point Elementary is set to host its Spring Fling festival this Saturday.
Assistant principal Bill Christian said the event, which will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., will feature a breakfast with the Easter Bunny, a cakewalk, inflatables, games and a silent auction.
“And there will be 25 vendors set up with crafts,” he said.
There is no cost of admission to the event, but the breakfast will cost $5 and events require a ticket, which he said can be purchased in sets of 12 for $10.
“Burlington does a fall festival each year and we do one in the spring,” he said of the neighboring school in the South Point district.
In addition to the festival, there will be an Easter Egg hunt on the adjacent field, organized by South Point Community Churches.
“They’re going to have 10,000 eggs on the field,” Christian said.
There is no cost for the egg hunt, he said.
