Clara Eyvonne Brown

Clara Eyvonne Brown, 64, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. She was born Aug. 29, 1946, in Burlington, the daughter of the late Minor and Dorothy Payne. She was a graduate of South Point High School and a faithful member of Christ Temple Church in Ashland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Warren and Richard Payne.
Clara is survived by her husband, Warren Brown whom she married on July 6, 1968; two daughters, Jane (John) Crockrel of Ironton and Monique Brown of Ironton; one son, Warren Brown Jr. of Ironton; seven grandchildren, Megan Crockrel, Mercedes Crockrel, J.D. Crockrel, Tevin Brown, Trenten Brown, Adriah Brown, Caidence Brown and Tiyeh Brown; one great-grandson, Kayden Edwards; two brothers, Charles (Pam) Payne of California and David (Linda) Payne of Burlington; three sisters, Ella (Richard) Kemp of Columbus, Marjorie (James) Jackson of Ironton and Janet Jackson of Ironton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Bishop Elzy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
