PROCTORVILLE — It’s a Warnock Life for Fairland.
While the “Hard Knock Life” made things tough for Little Orphan Annie, Kelsie Warnock made life miserable for the South Webster Lady Jeeps as she scored 21 points to lead the Fairland Lady Dragons to a 68-32 win in the annual Big E Classic on Saturday.
Fairland built a huge 26-point halftime lead as Warnock scored 17 of her 21 points.
Jenna Stone added 16 points — eight in each half — and Harlie Lyons chipped in 10 points as Fairland evened its record at 2-2.
Warnock’s nine points in the first quarter along with five points by Britney Thompson gave the Lady Dragons a comfortable 23-4 lead.
Warnock and Stone combined for 14 of Fairland’s 18 points in the second quarter and it was 41-15 at the half.
Stone had six points and Warnock four more as Fairland extended its lead to 55-23 after three quarters.
Fairland hosts South Point on Monday.
