Will be last Tuesday Night Concert of the summer
Local favorite, City Heat, will close out Ironton aLive’s Tuesday Night last concert of the season tomorrow
“This is a popular group so come early bring a chair, the kids and have dinner at one of Ironton’s fine restaurants,” said Sam Heighton, executive director of Ironton aLive.
He said the band has played for the last two years and is one of the summer concert series’ biggest draws. “They are a great band, it’s a large group and they have an extremely good vocalist, she can really belt it out.”
The concert is at the Ironton Farmers Market Square in downtown Ironton and starts at 6:30 p.m. The event is free.
“If rain is predicted we will be inside at the historical Ro-Na Theater,” Heighton said. “Information will be posted on Facebook at Tuesday Night Summer Concert Series.”
He said Ironton aLive would be honoring the sponsors who have helped fund the concert series throughout the summer.
“We will be thanking our sponsors for their support during the break,” he said. “They have all been invited and will be introduced so everyone can show appreciation for their support.”
Concert sponsors include Perry Distributing of Ironton, Phillips Funeral Home, Glockner of Ironton and Ashland, J & J Maintenance, Servpro of Southern Scioto and Lawrence Co., Christen Finley, Hometown Preowned Certified, and The Ironton Holiday Inn Express. The producers are Studimo productions and Ironton aLive.
