Delphia Frazier

May 12, 1928 — July 25, 2018

Delphia Lee Stevenson Frazier, 90, of Proctorville, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Best Care Nursing, Wheelersburg. Mrs. Frazier was born May 12, 1928, in Wayne County, West Virginia, to the late Burgess and Anna Bowen Stevenson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Frazier in 1982; daughter, Sharon Lafon; and son, Enoch Frazier Jr.
Delphia attended Wayne County Schools, worked at Tri-State Airport as a waitress, and was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to grow flowers, plant gardens and attended Church of Christ.
Delphia is survived by siblings, Clara, Roxie, Sherlie, Susie, Carrie, Margaret, Opal, Marie, Delila, Lucinda, Tommy, George, Burgess Jr. and Virgil; and 54 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Frazier will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Rome-Proctorville Cemetery, Proctorville. Minister of God Chris Stevens will officiate. Visiting hours will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Kilgore and Collier Funeral Home, Catlettsburg, Kentucky. Condolences may be left at www.kilgorecollierfuneralhome.com.

 

Erma Garland

Curtis Roberts

Sept. 21, 1941 — July 27, 2018

Curtis Wade Roberts, 76, of South Point, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born Sept. 21, 1941, to the late Henry and Shirley K. (Freeman) Roberts.
He was a 1959 graduate of South Point High School and married the late Judith B. Phelps in 1961. They eventually settled back in South Point, where they raised four children and lived the remainder of their lives. They owned Roberts Greenhouse for many years, and he retired from Sunoco in 2008. He was a member of South Point Church of Christ.
Survivors include his children, Kathy (Tim) Forlines, of Clinton, Tennessee, David (Daphne) Roberts, of Amelia, Virginia, Diann (Scot) Kelley, of South Point, and Marjorie (Robert) Hasting, of Maryville, Tennessee; his sister, Donna Jean (Frank) Morris, of Columbus; and 12 beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald R. Roberts, of Thornville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Mark Aites and Barry Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Friends may visit from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to South Point Church of Christ Food Pantry, P.O. Carol Gubaci

June 21, 1941 — July 13, 2018

Carol June Gubaci, 77, of Melvindale, Michigan, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Andy Gubaci; loving mother of Tony (Robin Caudill, Rick (Christine) Caudill and Kelli (Albert) Sanchez; grandmother of Chelsey, TJ, Chad, Shelby, Ricky, Ryan, Rebecka, Kaitlyn, Kourtney, Kassidy, Christopher, Katelyn, Ashley and Avery; great-grandmother of Dallas, David, Dakota, Declan, Harper, Brady, Jordan, Dominic, Marie, Autumn and Aiden. She is also survived by her mother, Priscilla “Tillie” Allen; and her siblings, Bill (Elaine) Allen, Sherm Allen, Tom (Donna) Allen, Bob (Gail) Allen, Larry (Barb) Allen, Sue (Jeff) Gillum, Sheri (Tim) Malone, and Sue Sue Lester.
Carol was a loving and caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Allen; her brother, John Leslie Allen; and Windus Reed Caudill.
Services were held Tuesday, July 17 at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Franklin Hardy

Sept. 21, 1963 — July 25, 2018

Franklin (Frank) Robert Hardy, 54, of Ironton, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Southern Ohio Medical Hospice. He was born Sept. 21, 1963, to the late Robert Hardy and Mary Webb Hardy, of Ironton.
He was preceded in death by not only his father, but also his sister, Linda Corbin; and brother, Roger Hardy.
He is survived by his mother as well as his daughter, Breanna Hardy; sisters, Jo Ann Bishop and Rose Malone; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home, Ironton, followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating.
