The little guys of the National Little League are coming to Ironton.
The Ironton National Little League will host the Ohio Little League state tournament July 28 through Aug. 4 for ages 9-11.
All the games will be played at the Ironton complex. Teams from 10 of 11 district will participate and the local District 11 champion Ironton will open play at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, against the District 6 champions.
The tournament brackets can be found on the league’s facebook page Facebook@irontonnationallittleleague.
Games will feature many District 11 umpires.
Anyone interested in sponsoring or volunteering can contact Kristina Holtzapfel through the league’s facebook page or contact any board member.
Sponsors will have their logos put on tournament shirts and announced every game during the tournament.
