Etta Hill

April 17, 1968 — May 23, 2018

Etta Jean Hill, 50, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Community Hospice Center, Ashland, Kentucky. She was born in Ironton on April 17, 1968, to the late John Daniel Hill and Joyce (Mulkey) Estes, who survives him.
Etta attended Rock Hill schools and truly loved her dogs and spending time with family. She was of the Protestant faith and attended God’s Holiness Mission Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Etta (Ferguson) Hill; and maternal grandparents, Ballard Mulkey and Imogene and Franklin Higgins.
In addition to her mother, Etta is survived by her boyfriend, Richard (Red Dog) Williams; several uncles, aunts cousins; and her beloved animals, Roo, Sissy and Booger.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Bob Chaffins officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Michael McGee

Michael Alan McGee, 72, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Goldie Brewer. Michael was a graduate of South Point High School, Class of 1964.
He was a hydraulics pneumatics specialist in the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. Michael was married Nov. 14, 1964, to Debbie Ann Stone and blessed with 53 years of marriage.
He is survived by three sons, Scott Alan McGee, of Noble County, Jason Michael McGee (fiancé, Lisa Steele), of South Point, and Matthew Ross McGee (Reona Bailey McGee), of Barboursville, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Jade Cassandra Freeman, Haleigh Anne McGee, and Roman and Rocco McGee; two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ruby Stone; a special brother-in-law, Michael Stone; and special nephew, Alec Stone.
Michael enjoyed his family, the house that he and his wife built, Patton (his dog), and a good intellectual challenge.
Slack and Wallace is assisting the family with arrangements. At Michael’s request, there will be no funeral services.
