Josa “Josie” Lee Lewis Thibodaux Corbin

Josa “Josie” Lee Lewis Thibodaux Corbin, 64, of Ironton, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. The Ironton native was born April 18, 1946, the daughter of the late Joseph “Joe” and Alma Mae Parnell Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Terry Corbin.
Mrs. Corbin was a graduate of Ironton High School, was a self-employed caregiver and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Edward “Eddie” Thibodaux and Vic Shannon Thibodaux; a daughter, Lisa and baby Thibodaux; a grandson, Shannon Thibodaux; and a grandmother, Eva Bundy.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Paula Thibodaux of Ironton; a son, Tony Thibodaux of Ironton; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Alma Jean Angel of Columbus; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Albert and Rose Lewis of Deltona, Fla., and Bobby Joe Lewis of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Russell and Rev. Richard Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
