Twenty-eight people were indicted by the Lawrence County Grand Jury recently. The grand jury met Nov. 29 and 30 and returned the following indictments:

•Arnold L. Berry, 46, of 109 Private Drive 2404, Kitts Hill, aggravated possession of drugs, surrender and cancellation of certificate of title; issuance of salvage or rebuilt salvage certificate of title.

• Homer W. Anson, 22, of 44 County Road 7C, Ironton, domestic violence and kidnapping.

• Michael Schumann, 24, of 1216 S. Fourth St., Ironton, carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated possession of drugs

• Seth M. Large, 26, of 2603 N. Second St., Ironton, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs.

• Brian D. Benicker, 30, of 605 Cliff St., Ironton, domestic violence.

• Nicholas C. Sycks, 24, of 3466 County Road 181, Ironton, failure to appear.

• Jonathan S. Black, 21, of 603 N. Fifth St., felonious assault.

• Mark E. Linkfield, 28, of 413 ½ Center St., Ironton, breaking and entering.

• Amy M. Ratliff, 30, of 102 Carlyle St., Coal Grove, theft.

• Lennis Christopher Adkins, 41, of 1358 Cannonsburg Road, Ashland, theft by deception.

• Darren Sanders, 25, 457 Private Drive 1664, Scottown, carrying a concealed weapon, discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

• Brandon K. Staten, 25, of 69 Wood Ave., Jackson, theft and criminal trespass.

• Heather M. Martin, 31, of 403 Fourth St. E., South Point, forgery, aggravated possession of drugs, and endangered children.

• James R. Basenback, 21, of 226 McCalum St., Westwood, Ky., failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, aggravated possession of drugs, contributing to unruliness or delinquency of a child, attempted theft, receiving stolen property, two counts of possession of drugs, obstructing official business and theft.

• Randy G. Z. Lopez, 20, of 223 Township Road 1186 Apt. 8, South Point, two counts of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school safety zone, tampering with evidence, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine and trafficking in marijuana.

• Britney J. Morris, 27, of 223 Township Road 1186, South Point, tampering with evidence.

• Joseph A. Jenkins, 36, 615 County Road 3, Chesapeake, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drug.

• Adam L. Honaker, 21, of 1606 County Road 123, Chesapeake, menacing by stalking.

• Pamela D. Kerfoot, 36, of 402 Brubaker Drive, South Point, theft of drugs.

• Okey Thomas Newsome, 50, of 18740 Gifford Road, Wellington, failure to appear.

• Jeremy S. McCann, 29, of 8029 County Road 107 Lot 4E, Proctorville, two counts of robbery, two counts of kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.

• Kimberly D. McCann, 28, of 8029 County Road 107 Lot 4E, Proctorville, two counts of robbery, two counts of kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.

Six secret indictments were also returned.
