Children are invited to have “Cookies with Santa” on Sunday at the Ironton City Center, 301 S. Third Street.

Admission is $3 per child and $1 for adults (age 13 and older).  Admission includes a visit with Santa, cookie decorating and a craft activity.

The Cookies with Santa event runs from noon to 3 p.m.  Families are encouraged to bring their cameras to take photos of their children with Santa.

Families will delight to special Christmas stories read aloud by local media personalities.  Chuck Black from The Dawg 93.7 FM, Bill Cornwell from ClearChannel and Michael Caldwell from The Tribune are scheduled to share their favorite Christmas tales with the children.

Cookies with Santa is a fundraiser for non-profit groups Z Winter Guard and Rivertown Performing Arts League, Inc.  For more information, call 606-922-2903.
