William Hutton

William “Bill” R. Hutton, 62, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at the Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. The St. Albans, West Virginia native was born Jan. 4, 1955, a son of Robert and Ruth Thompson Hutton, of St. Albans, West Virginia. He is also survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Bro Hutton.
Mr. Hutton was a graduate of St. Albans High School and received his Master’s Degree from West Virginia University. He was an addictions counselor for Pathways in Greenup and Ashland, Kentucky for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Hutton.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two brothers, Doug (Tona) Hutton, of Tennessee, and Tom Hutton, of Virginia; a nephew, Chris (Mandy) Hutton, of Columbus; a niece, Jessica Scott, of Tennessee; two stepdaughters, Tammy Corrado and Jaime Sanders; a stepson, Scott Sanders; and two step-grandchildren, Tyler Sanders and Maya Dingess.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Kristi Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery and visitation will be 1 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
