Theft of a motor vehicle – 100 block of Private Drive 106, South Point, Nov. 16, woman alleges her mechanic took her van to another man’s house to have it worked on. The man allegedly moved away and she doesn’t know where the van is. Suspect named.

Bigamy – 800 block of South 10th Street, Ironton, Nov. 15, man alleges that his wife left him and married his brother.

Theft – 1600 block of Township Road 199, Pedro, Nov. 15, man alleges that his cattle gates were stolen from his property. Suspect named.

Misuse of credit card – 12000 block of State Route 93, Pedro, Nov. 15, man alleges that his ex wife used his debit card to purchase a motor for her car. Suspect named.

Burglary – 100 block of Township Road 1287, Chesapeake, Nov. 15, woman claims her house was burglarized and that a karaoke machine and jewelry were taken.

Burglary – Township Road 124, Chesapeake, Nov. 15, woman alleges her televsion was stolen from her residence. Suspect named.

Violation of protection order – 300 block of County Road 12, Proctorville, Nov. 6, woman alleges that a man violated a protection order that was placed by her daughter. Suspect named.

Domestic violence – 1000 block of County Road 1, Apt. 18, South Point, woman alleges her boyfriend threw her against a wall, injured her eye. Suspect named.

Disorderly conduct, unruly child – 100 block of Private Dr., Proctorville, juvenille refused to stay at house, was smoking a cigarette.

Violating a protective order- 100 block of Township Road 1161, Proctorville, Nov. 16, woman alleges that a man she sent her threatening text messages, in violation of her protective order.

Burglary – Township Road 1133 Proctorville, Nov. 16, woman’s house allegedly burglarized.

Theft of motor vehicle – 200 block of County Road 9, Crown City, Nov. 17, woman says her car was stolen and that she found out when the Ohio State Highway Patrol called her and said it was wrecked.

Cruelty to animals – man alerted deputies that a dog was being kept in bad condition outside a trailer where it was tied. Deputy arrived to find the Boxer with ribs backbone and tail bone showing. Dog allegedly lying on the ground without food, shelter or water. Dog taken to pound. Michael A. Morris, 27, of 9804 State Route 141, Kitts Hill, arrested.

Vandalism – 2900 Block of County Road 144, South Point, Nov. 16, hotel employee said guest damaged room, busted mirror, broke lamps and put a hole in the wall. Suspect named.

Ironton Police

Theft – 12:06 a.m. Sunday, Speedway on State Route 141, man alleges someone stole his license plate. Information filed for report.

Threats – 12:52 a.m. Sunday, man and woman said a man tried to hit them in his car.

Trouble – 3:57 a.m. Sunday, man allegedly drunk and threatening to jump from Ironton-Russell bridge.

Trouble – 2:13 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of Cliff Street, man wants unwanted visitors removed from house. One male taken to sheriff’s office for warrants.

Theft – 2:45 p.m. Sunday, man alleges his guns were stolen. Information filed for report.

Check well being – 3:20 p.m. Sunday, 2100 block of South Third Street, woman said she can’t reach brother, wants officer to check. Officer spoke with man, he is fine.

Trouble – 5:27 p.m. Sunday, woman alleges her neighbor is bothering her. Spoke to caller, unable to locate subject.

Trouble – 9:51 p.m. Sunday, 500 block of Center Street, woman says her daughter has passed out. Negative contact, Sheriff’s office notified SEOEMS.

Trouble – 1:08 a.m. Monday, woman alleges her brother is drunk and beating on her door. Subjects left prior to arrival.

Vandalism – 8:55 a.m. Monday, Jim’s Warehouse, man says there was vandalism at store, needs an officer. Information filed.

Trouble – 3:40 p.m Monday, 1200 block of South Ninth Street, woman alleges her neighbor threw garbage into her yard. Both parties adviser.

Assault – 3:50 p.m. Monday- woman alleges her daughter was assualted on a school bus. Information filed for report.

Violation of a protective order – 4:34 p.m. Monday, woman wants to speak to officer about mail she received. Information filed for report.

Suspicious item – 4:36 p.m. Monday, 1000 block of McGovney Street, woman alleges someone knocked on her door, left a bowl of something on porch. Food item disposed of.

Possible breaking and entering – 11:56 p.m. Monday 300 block of Mulberry Street, man alleges someone was trying to get an air conditioning unit out of window in apartment. Negative contact, checked around and secured residence.
