U.S. Air Force Airman Hunter D. Pauley graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Pauley is the son of Kelly J. Mays of Coal Grove, and Brian P. Pauley of Ironton, and grandson of Charlotte A. and John F. Pauley of Ironton, and Debra and Elmer Mays Jr. of Coal Grove.

He is a 2016 graduate of Ironton High School.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
